Brenna was gracious enough to make this beautiful flyer for a show I’m helping throw this Monday here in Eau Claire.  Two of my favorites from my two favorite cities coming together for a night of tea sipping:  couldn’t get better.

Isn’t Brenna’s poster beautiful?  Wishing a little bit that I was there tonight, but here’s a pretty good place to be, too.

Perhaps there can be too much making of cups of tea, I thought, as I watched Miss Statham filling the heavy teapot. Did we really need a cup of tea? I even said as much to Miss Statham and she looked at me with a hurt, almost angry look, ‘Do we need tea? she echoed. ‘But Miss Lathbury…’ She sounded puzzled and distressed and I began to realise that my question had struck at something deep and fundamental. It was the kind of question that starts a landslide in the mind. I mumbled something about making a joke and that of course one needed tea always, at every hour of the day or night.

Yohuna - “It’s All Yours” -

Fuck this has been in the works forever and we’re REALLY excited. This spring we’ll be releasing Yohuna’s “Revery” on vinyl, cassette and digital. The difference between this and the 50 copy self released 2011 cassette is that it’s been mastered by Pete Lyman (No Age, Dunes, Colleen Green).

It’s really easy for limited release tapes to fly under the radar so it’s nice to see Art Fag stepping up and giving Yohuna’s super cool 2011 dream/dronepop gem Revery another chance. And maybe this means another record is in the works? We can only hope. Check out Art Fag for a list of tour dates with Truman Peyote (and eventually a release date you’d think) and follow Yohuna on tumblr.

You seemed so far away,” Miss Honey whispered, awestruck.
Oh, I was. I was flying past the stars on silver wings,” Matilda said. “It was wonderful.
